I’ve been coming here since I was a kid, I unfortunately have moved away due to military but came back recently to visit and made sure to make a stop in! It was so refreshing to have such delicious fish, and enjoy the comfort of the memories I’ve had since childhood.

I have been going to Cozy Inn (or "Pete's", as my family knows it) for many, many years (honestly, as long as I can remember). It has always been great food and fast service! I would definitely consider it reliable - you always know you're going to get great food. My late grandpa (a resident of Brimley) would always get the whitefish tails, which never failed to impress him. Their fish is great, never leaving a fishy aftertaste or the smell of fish lingering on your fingers. Their Friday night fish is the best! Eleven years ago, I introduced this place to my husband (then boyfriend) and he loves it just as much as I do. It's a staple of any trip up to Brimley!

Excellent local choice for local whitefish, walleye, perch, etc. Cash only but atm on premises. Good value for money. No need to wait for Fridays to get delicious fish fry.

Grew up just south of the area, moved to Detroit but every time I come home, I make it a tradition to stop here.
This is truly the best whitefish that I have ever had. If you’re ever in the area, this is the spot to eat. Freshly caught whitefish and the restaurant is right on Lake Superior as well.

This is a great and cozy place to have a meal. The whitefish is delicious, and the rest of the meal was delicious as well.

Best fish in the Eastern U.P. the whitefish is always fried to perfection. Order it with cozy fries for an added treat. If you dine here on a summer evening (especially weekends), expect a wait for a table. Though the wait will be worth it!

Great food, served quickly. It was hot, too. The white fish was amazing, and so were the sweet potato fries. Not to forget the amazing coleslaw. The servers were friendly and helpful as well.

Came to Brimley for work and found this gem. Great service and the food was great. Smothered chicken 😋 is 🔥, get the double!

The whitefish is the best I’ve ever had! It is well worth the trip to the upper peninsula! Staff is friendly the building is rustic and very northern Michigan style. You would love this place! Thank you, Cozy Inn staff! Cash only excepted, ATM is in the restaurant.

Super cool place! We just stopped in for a beer while sledding, and I really want to go back and try some food. I loved the atmosphere. It reminded me of a mountain lodge back home in Wyoming!

Great food, fresh fish, friendly staff, cool locals...except the one drunk guy who couldn't figure out how to open the chimney flue and filled the bar with smoke. But either way made for an entertaining night. Good times

Great find. I ordered the perch basket, my wife ordered the white fish basket. Both were excellent. Highly recommend. Prices were more than fair, portions were also great. Service was excellent. Cash or checks only. We're camping at the nearby state park and will definetely get back there before we head out.

Always a great place for white fish and other food options, service is always excellent, staff is very happy and friendly. It a very nice relaxing place to kick back and have a nice meal with your family and friends. My family and I been going to this place for years. It always a great place to come to when we are here on vacation.

Recommended by my son who frequents the UP. Was a nice little bar restaurant to grab a bite on our way to Whitefish Point from the Soo.

Always a great experience here. The ladies are wonderful. JB is our favorite. Pleasant surprise is the sweet potato with the house onion rings. So GOOD!! Ps... fresh white fish is the way to go

This place has great fish dinners. Deep fried or broiled. Prices reasonable and vary based on how many pieces you want. Been known to give you an extra piece if one is a little small. Oh, don't forget the bar for those who imbibe.
