In case you didn’t notice…..it’s October!! How the heck did that happen? In St. Louis, we call it Red October……post season baseball baby!!! Sorry, bear with me a moment, you just can’t live in St. Louis and not be a part of the excitement that goes on with baseball, especially when you have a team like the 2015 St. Louis Cardinals. Can I get a woooohoooo!!

Ok, so my other favorite part about October….it’s time for all the fabulous flavors for fall recipes!! Comfort food at it’s finest begin appearing on dinner tables, warm savory dishes, rich hearty soups, and of course caramel apples and pumpkin everything.     I certainly agree with you about the St. Louis Cardinals especially since Kolten Wong is from my hometown of Hilo, Hawai’i. I’ve always been a big support of the SF Giants, but I’ve been keeping my eyes on the Cardinals. Mahalo for all the wondrous recipes for fall. I love tortilla soup and this one sounds perfect.
