Recipe Notes
To ensure even cooking, make sure to cut the biscuits into similar-sized pieces. This will result in a more consistent texture throughout the monkey bread.
To prevent sticking, make sure to generously grease the pan with non-stick cooking spray before adding the biscuit pieces.
After arranging the biscuit pieces in the pan, give them some time to rise before baking. The refrigerated biscuits won't rise like my recipe for Garlic Parmesan Monkey Bread, but they will warm up nicely before baking.
Monkey bread is ready when it turns golden brown on the top and the biscuits are fully cooked.

Substitutions and Variations
- For added variation, feel free to replace the pepperoni with salami, Canadian bacon, Italian sausage, or bacon.
- You can also use different cheeses. Cheddar cheese would be great if you were using bacon or even a Monterey Jack cheese with salami!
- Feel free to add chopped green and red peppers to the monkey bread as well!
- Love a little heat? Try stirring ½ teaspoon of red pepper flakes into the garlic butter mixture.
Step-by-Step Directions:
Step 1: Open the cans of biscuits. On a cutting board, divide each biscuit into four pieces.
Step 2: Spread a generous layer of garlic butter over each piece. Make sure the butter covers the piece evenly.
Step 3: Prepare a cake pan or Bundt pan by spraying it with non-stick cooking spray. Start by placing a layer of buttered biscuits on the bottom of the pan.
Step 4: Add a layer of pepperoni, followed by a layer of mozzarella cheese. Repeat this layering with buttered biscuits, pepperoni, and mozzarella cheese. Finish with a final layer of biscuits.
Step 5: Sprinkle freshly grated Parmesan cheese generously over the top of the pepperoni monkey bread before baking.
Baking Instructions
Step 6: Preheat your oven to 350°F and bake the monkey bread for 30 to 40 minutes, or until it turns a delicious golden brown. Allow it to cool for about 10 minutes before serving. Don't forget to offer marinara sauce on the side for a perfect dipping experience!
