State Route 4/Crosstown Freeway – Ramp & Lane Closures

San Joaquin County The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various lane and ramp closures on State Route 4 (SR-4)/Crosstown Freeway for maintenance and construction operations. Work will occur as follows;

  • Overnight, alternating lanes closures on eastbound SR-4/Crosstown Freeway from Mormon Slough to Center Street for bridge work beginning Sunday, June 16, through Friday, June 21, 2024, from 8:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.
  • Overnight, alternating lanes closures on eastbound SR-4/Crosstown Freeway from Airport Way to Wilson Way for bridge work beginning Sunday, June 16, through Friday, June 21, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.
  • Overnight, full off-ramp closures from eastbound SR-4/Crosstown Freeway at Wilson Way for bridge work beginning Sunday, June 16, through Friday, June 21, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.

Interstate 5 – Lane & Ramp Closures
Overnight Lane And Ramp Closures From Manthey Road To County Line

San Joaquin County The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various ramp and lane closures on Interstate 5 (I-5) for maintenance and construction work within San Joaquin County. Work will occur as follows;

  • Overnight, full on and off-ramp closures on southbound I-5 at Manthey Road for bridge work beginning Sunday, June 16, through Friday, June 21, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. until 4:00 a.m.
  • Overnight, full off-ramp closures on northbound I-5 at Mossdale Road for bridge work beginning Sunday, June 16, through Friday, June 21, 2024, from 10:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
  • Overnight, alternating closures of the #1 (left) through #4 (middle-right) lanes of I-5 at Paradise Cut/Overflow for bridge work beginning Sunday, June 16, through Friday, June 21, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m. (northbound) and from 9:00 p.m. until 4:00 a.m. (southbound.)
  • Overnight, full on-ramp closures from Downing Avenue to northbound I-5 for bridge work beginning Sunday, June 16, through Saturday, June 22, 2024, from 10:00 p.m. until 8:00 a.m.
  • Overnight, full off-ramp closures from southbound I-5 at Downing Avenue for bridge work beginning Sunday, June 16, through Saturday, June 22, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.
  • Overnight, full on-ramp closures from Eighth Street to southbound I-5 for bridge work beginning Sunday, June 16, through Saturday, June 22, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.
  • Overnight, alternating closures of the #1 through #4 lanes on northbound I-5 at SR-4/Crosstown Freeway for pavement work beginning Sunday, June 16, through Friday, June 21, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.
  • Overnight, alternating closures of the #1 through #4 lanes on southbound I-5 at Stockton Channel Viaduct for pavement work beginning Sunday, June 16, through Friday, June 21, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.
  • Overnight, alternating lane closures on northbound and southbound I-5 from Hammer Lane to SR-12 (Flag City) for construction beginning Saturday, June 15, through Sunday, June 23, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.
  • Overnight, full on and off-ramp closures at Hammer Lane on northbound and southbound I-5 for construction beginning Sunday, June 16, through Friday, June 21, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. (northbound) and 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. (southbound.)
  • Overnight, full on and off-ramp closures at Eight Mile Road on northbound and southbound I-5 for construction beginning Saturday, June 15, through Friday, June 21, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. (northbound) and 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. (southbound.)
  • Overnight, full on and off-ramp closures at SR-12/Flag City on northbound I-5 for construction beginning Sunday, June 16, through Friday, June 21, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.
  • Overnight, full on-ramp closures at SR-12/Flag City on southbound I-5 for construction beginning Sunday, June 16, through Monday, June 17, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.
  • Overnight, full off-ramp closures at SR-12/Flag City on southbound I-5 for construction beginning Sunday, June 16, through Friday, June 21, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. until 4:00 a.m.
  • Overnight, alternating lane closures on northbound and southbound I-5 from SR-12 (Flag City) to County line for construction beginning Saturday, June 15, through Sunday, June 23, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.
  • Overnight, full on and off-ramp closures on northbound and southbound I-5 at Turner Road and Walnut Grove/Thornton Road for construction beginning Sunday, June 16, through Monday, June 17, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.

The above listed lane and ramp closures on I-5 between Hammer Lane and the San Joaquin/Sacramento County line are required as part of the I-5 Anchor Pavement Project that will improve 34 miles of existing pavement and shoulders from Hammer Lane in Stockton to the San Joaquin/Sacramento County line. The project will also replace on- and off-ramps with upgraded concrete at Eight Mile Road, State Route 12, Turner Road, Peltier Road and Thornton Road/Walnut Grove Road. State Route 26 – One-Way Traffic Control
From Patterson Avenue To Duncan Road

San Joaquin County The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on State Route 26 (SR-26) for maintenance and construction operations. Work will occur as follows:

  • One-way traffic control from Patterson Avenue to Jack Tone Road for shoulder work on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
  • One-way traffic control from Jack Tone Road to Murray Road for shoulder work beginning Monday, June 17, through Friday, June 21, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
  • One-way traffic control from Murray Road to Duncan Road for shoulder work beginning Thursday, June 20, through Friday, June 21, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

State Route 99 – Lane & Ramp Closures
From Cottage Avenue To State Route 12/Kettleman Lane

San Joaquin County The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on State Route 99 (SR-99) for maintenance and construction operations. Work will occur as follows:

  • Overnight, one-way traffic control on Cottage Avenue (local street) under SR-99 for bridge work beginning Sunday, June 16, through Friday, June 21, 2024, from 7:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
  • Overnight, alternating lane closures on northbound and southbound SR-99 from SR-12/Kettleman Lane to East Pine Street for bridge and fence work beginning Sunday, June 16, through Friday, June 21, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.

Interstate 205 – Lane & Ramp Closures
From Byron Road To Macarthur Drive

San Joaquin County The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on Interstate 205 (I-205) for maintenance and construction operations. Work will occur as follows:

  • Overnight closures of the #3 (right) lanes of I-205 from Delta Mendota Canal to Paradise Road for guard rail work beginning Sunday, June 16, through Friday, June 21, 2024, from 10:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m. (eastbound) and from 7:00 p.m. until 3:00 a.m. (westbound.)
  • Overnight, full on-ramp closures from Grant Line Road to westbound I-205 for construction beginning Sunday, June 16, through Monday, June 17, from 10:00 p.m. until 4:00 a.m., and from Monday, June 17, through Friday, June 21, 2024, from 8:00 p.m. until 4:00 a.m.
  • Overnight, full on-ramp closures from MacArthur Drive to eastbound I-205 for construction beginning Sunday, June 16, through Friday, June 21, 2024, from 10:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
  • Overnight, full on-ramp closures from MacArthur Drive to westbound I-205 for construction beginning Sunday, June 16, through Friday, June 21, 2024, from 10:00 p.m. until 4:00 a.m.

San Joaquin County The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on Interstate 580 (I-580) for maintenance and construction operations. Work will occur as follows:

  • Overnight closures of the #1 (left) lane of eastbound I-580 at SR-132 for bridge work beginning Sunday, June 16, through Friday, June 21, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m.
  • Overnight closures of the #1 (left) lane of westbound I-580 at SR-132 for bridge work beginning Sunday, June 16, through Friday, June 21, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. until 4:00 a.m.
