Baddie Girl Nails

Kicking it off first with these baddie girl nails to start the year with that “I’m worth everything” attitude. I love a bad girl vibe. So for these I chose to do a baddie girl aesthetic all the way. I’ve got decals on them of a playboy bunny skull, lollipops that say “you suck”, a cat lady with her chest out. I mean what’s not to adore with this set. For the middle finger I used an alphabet mould to spell out the word “NOT”, then glued them onto the nails using nail glue. Then I took this decal of a mouth saying “Yours” and placed it just underneath it, so it gave the impression of saying “Not Yours”. (yes all puns intended with this one, that it’s on the middle finger). Using plain white acrylic to shape these claws and file into stilettos giving off a hot baddie vibe. The black decals and moulds really work so well against one another for an eye-catching look.

Valentine Heart Nails

Hearts, hearts and more hearts. With Valentines Stiletto nails, bring that extra sex appeal and these white and red heart nails just oozed sexy. The white backing with that bold bright valentines red hearts all over, making a love statement. Changing it up a little by having the odd nail with a red shaped heart at the tip, made this separation to the rest of the set ideal. Bold red for valentines makes such a great aesthetic for the day. Red for a sex appeal and white to balance it out. Would you try these? These were made by using white acrylic liquid and powder to make the initial nail and filled down to shape the stiletto and gel polish for a nice shiny finish.

Simple Pink Ombre Nails

Holiday nails are just an essential part of the going on holiday process for us nail lovers. I got these simple but stunning pink and white ombre nails done just before I went to Greece. I wanted something glamorous, yet matched almost every outfit I wore; these were perfect for just that. These have to be some of the best holiday nails I have had to date. I have already picked my next holiday nails and I will be returning to Greece in May this year. I think this time, I will go for a simple poly gel set of frenchies with the same colour tones as these ones.

Miami Beach Nails

My absolute favourite nails of this year, my Miami Beach inspired nails. I got these done in a little nail salon just outside where I live. I love everything vaporwave, and I knew I was going on holiday to Spain in the summer; it was a perfect opportunity to get these nails done for the occasion. These amazing nails were made with acrylic and hand painted with gel nail polish. The male artist who created these, added in these little diamondizes to really glam up this set for me. They were just perfect! Even the nail tech used me as a model to advertise their business after being so proud of the work they had done. Overall, these were just what I imagined, and couldn’t have asked for a better set done.

Wave Trend Nails

So in 2023, we saw a lot of the wave trend that nail artists were doing. I did jump on the band wagon with this one! I adore this style. Keeping up with my own aesthetic, I designed these nails and created them to match all the colours I use in my social media posts. Vaporwave is a huge part of what I am inspired by, so for these I used my holographic pillows as a background. Using acrylic to create the nail and shape them using my diffuser stack nail files, I rounded these to a nice oval shape. For the colours, I picked out two shades of blue, two shades of pink and a nice bright white. The polish I used were all gloss gel. However, one of my favourite things to do with nails is use a matt top finish. This just creates such a nice effect, especially on these beauties! These were really fun to do, I think I might do these again! But with what colours next?

Autumn Time Check Nails

We all love the the warm tones in the autumn time, so here I chose to have a check and oval French mix done. Opaque pinks, dark browns, light tan and a splash of that gorgeous mustard colour. All clashing together in this unique set of nails. I wanted something a little different that was still on trend, so I chose check nails with a twist. Most people have a shine to finish off their nails, but I asked for a matt top to create a new dynamic for these autumn nails. I think this was the right choice for nails like this. The tones I had chosen to clash all together are made up of some of my favourite colour tones that match my wardrobe aesthetic.

Checkered Vaporwave Nails

These nails have to be one of my personal favs of this year. These checkered nails were inspired by the love I have for all this vaporwave and grunge. So, a sort of mash up of both really. When at the nail salon, I got to pick all my colours for each nail, and there was a long list in creating these. Like the autumn nails I have had before, I did want something similar, only with bolder colours this time. The great thing about these nails is that they glow under a UV light, they turn into neon colours! How cool is that. The glossy finish on them just adds into the bold statement that these nails make. Made with acrylic and a gel top, this set lasted weeks.

Xmas Time Nails

To finish off the year, a perfect set of x-mas inspired nails for the jolly holidays. For these nails, I went with a more simple approach. A bold glitter red poly gel set for x-mas day to match in with my sage green pant suit. When I think about Christmas, I always have the colours of red and green for Santa and the glitter lights on the Christmas tree, so that’s what inspired me for this simple clean, yet bold red glitter set of poly gel nails. I wonder what nail ideas I will come up with for this x-mas?
